LifeStories - what does it cost?
The non-binding first conversation costs nothing. The first recorded interview-conversation which is transcribed costs € 350.- VAT-free. That includes corrections and sending the final transcript by post to you. All following interview-conversations lasting around an hour + transcription, corrections, printing and sending cost € 400,- VAT-free.
There are no costs for Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp interviews. Costs are associated with interviews done via telephone. For an hour of conversation, I need about four hours to correctly transcribe, depending on how fast and clearly someone speaks. Half of my fee is due prior to our conversation, the other half upon completion. My invoice is sent via email. You can pay via my PayPal account or via a bank transfer.
This modular structure leaves people to decide how much they wish to invest and leaves freedom. If there is a long gap between a first interview and consecutive interviews (or if there are no consecutive interviews) that is fine.
