The book I inherited in 2013 that led me to Else, her first name was on the book plate with an image of her brother, Bruno, my grandfather (below).

Sattler 3, 18 in the ghetto was Else and Karl's address in the Łódź ghetto as the list shows. Else was listed as Elhulsa, which might have been a typing error. Documents located by the Arolsen Archives.

Death certificate Susi

Else's daughter's death certificate. Susi died just over a year after arriving in England at the age of 19.

Hanne Susi

Hanne and Susi in 1929. Hanne (left) was Susi's half-sister. This is the only picture I found of Susi and it only came to light towards the end of 2024.
